How to Travel with Essential Oils

How to Travel withEssential Oils

I love to travel whether on vacation or for business. I get to meet so many interesting people. Sometimes the schedule can be crazy. I like to empower other people, especially women, to build their own businesses whilst raising their families and for some of you building a second income stream after the family have flown the nest. Travel takes its toll!!!!!!!!
It’s important to plan ahead I need oils to protect the immune system, create great nightly sleeps, ease any jet lag and general support for energy, metabolism, moods and hormones.
Our bodies get in and out of balance, travelling or not. Travelling is a challenge so why not strive towards a better homeostasis.

Must Haves! Don’t leave home without them! They will be an arsenal of wellness and happiness.
Everyone has their favourite oils and here are some of mine:
Thieves, Purification, Lemon, Peace and Calm Peppermint, Lavender, Deep   Relief.
Waterless hand purifier, I love this.
Plus I take my Ning Xia Red vitamin supplement for my immune system.
Remember to take your skin care, sun care and protection against to nasty little insects.
Whatever my issue I’m going to have an oil for it!!!

4 Special tips for travelling.
·       Invest in a carrying case with a zip lock.
·       For road trips –Peppermint for tiredness. Invest in a small car diffuser.
·       Buy a plastic case with zip for customs.
·       Don’t get caught out without a carrier oil to dilute the oils, especially if you are travelling with a young family. Prepare dilutions before travelling with children.
Regulations for Air Travel.
First ensure that all the bottles are well closed and protected against any bangs or hits.
I’ve never had any problems not even in the cabin.
You do have to follow the European rules for carrying liquids. Other countries will also have their own regulations.
·       Individual Oils no more that 100ml in a plastic transparent bag with an opening and closing system---zip.
·       No more than 1 liter in total.

Do the scanners and x rays affect the oils?
I’m not an expert, but in my own experience I believe the scanners have not affected the quality or the balance of the oils. I have never noticed the reduction in potency or efficacy.
It is possible to ask for the inspection to be done manually if not tooooo busy!!

Many people ask me what is in my bottles and what are they for? Great conversation starter for your journey!

Prepare well and enjoy your travel.
