5 Tips for Health Food Shopping

5 Tips for Healthy Food Shopping

5 tips for healthy food shopping

You want to outsmart your Supermarket!!!!!!

You’ve decided to start eating healthily and stop the shopping frenzy. That deserves CONGRATULATIONS!
  •    Do not shop when you are hungry. Shopping after a meal can help stave off the cravings. Boycott the bakery! The smell of fresh bread, donuts etc. gets your senses begging you to take some home. Some supermarkets even bake in their busiest hour.

  •   You’re ready list in hand.  Only buy from your list. If it’s not on your list this week don’t buy it. Try and prepare your meals for the week and then do your list accordingly. Supermarkets place their special offers in strategic places i.e. end of isles and near checkouts. Those Easter Eggs are waiting for you to take them home.

  •       Buy organic or fresh local produce that is in season.

  •        Use the outer isles of the supermarket whenever possible and keep away from the inner isles. You will find the fruit, vegetables, fish and meat on the outside lanes. Products are placed at      strategic eye levels to entice you to buy like special offers, buy 2 get 1 free.

  •    Finally, take a check on any herbs or spices that may give variety and flavour to your healthy eating programme BUT check them out at home and then put them on the list for next week.

Here’s a list that will help you with your healthy food shopping.

That’s it for today.
Happy Shopping.

Strategies to Manage Your Intentions.

What a fabulous week at the Periscope Summit. Because of this incredible technology, I was able to participate and feel part of the Summit, although I’m in the opposite corner of the world.

So if you did not set your intentions on how you are going to achieve your goals in 2016 there is now a sense of urgency to put your strategies into operation. The year is already running fast.

Are You Ready?   Filled with that dynamite excitement and energy  that  you had at the Summit, Let’s Do It Now!

Here are a few strategies that you may like to use to get your business fired up and on track.
1.    S.W.O.T. analysis.
This is not new but a very useful tool. It stands for STRENGTHS, WEAKNESSES, OPPORTUNITIES and THREATS.
Take time out to stop and examine your business.
Ask yourself some questions. Where is your business NOW?
What are your personal strengths that you bring to your business?
What are your weaknesses and where do you need to improve?
Look at your team and examine the same issues.
What opportunities are waiting out there for you?
Be aware of any threats that could damage your business.
Examine any analytics that may be available to you. What are they telling you?

2.    Do a Reality Check on your team.
Where are they in their businesses?
Who needs help and what kind of help can you give them?
DIG DOWN into your team, not only your personal recruits.
Look for those members who may have special skills that could be utilised and shared with the rest of the team.

3.    How and where are you going to grow your business?
Look for diversification. What opportunities are there in other countries?
What is not working properly and how can you improve the performance.

Events are an essential part of a culture, whether they are small local meetings or larger corporate events. This brings people together and shows the bigger picture. People meet other people and learn from them.
Make events and meetings part of your culture for the whole team. Think as one family. Meetings get people fired up and inspired by the energy in those events.

4.    Attrition: 80%-20% Rule.
This used to be very high in the Network Marketing Industry but now with training and leadership skills the balance is being redressed.
What strategies have you put in place to minimise wastage and loss of people in your business?
Stop and identify which team members need your help and service.
Step Up! Be the Leader!
Encourage your team to feel part of a family. Get everyone involved in the team and helping at meetings and events.

5.    Go Getter's Check List.
If you are a go getter then organise your list of things to do. Put date and time stamp on activities. Schedule your events and meetings. Get them in the calendar.
If you plan your strategies then you will get the explosion you desire in your business.
There will be times when life takes over and you have to re-adjust your timing or activities but this is fine because you can go back and re-plan if you have everything 'diarized`

6.    Your PASSION is priceless. This does not mean you have to be all singing and dancing with bells etc. but the passion you have deep inside. Your team, customers and new distributors will be attracted to your passion.
Remember you’re BIG WHY? Why you started your business and your journey. Perhaps now is the time to re-visit it and see if your why is the same.

What are your members WHYS? Do they also need a reminder? Spend some time talking with them.

Get motivated! Get active!

Go from SUBSTANCE to SIGNIFICANCE in 2016. You have the power within to create the change you want to see and live the lifestyle of your dreams.

Here’s to your future.

Have You Bought Yourself Yet?
Learning to Invite

Learning to invite is the one skill that reigns terror for some people. It sends shivers down their spines and stresses them emotionally. Let’s see if we can simplify and unravel what inviting is really all about outside your family.

·      Building Relationships.
You are initially building relationships and a rapport with people. Some might be friends or people you have only recently met.  Think of yourself as a solutions provider. They have a problem and you may have a solution to their problem. You’re NOT selling them a business.
They may be unhappy at work or don’t like their boss. Perhaps they would like to provide some  little luxuries for their family. Have they got a health problem that one of your products may help?
Become a good listener.
a.    Offer sincere compliments about them in some way.
b.   Ask appropriate questions in an informal manner. Don’t be officious.
Be genuinely interested in them.
c.    Help and inspire them to solve their issues.
d.    Be a professional. You are not a hunter, more a fisherman. You are not stalking your prey.
e.    Have patience. Be nurturing. It takes time.
f.     Find out if there is a fit.
·      Face to Face Meetings.
Once you are ready for the face to face meeting there are several things you can do.
Invite them to an event. It may be a small local event or Saturday Sizzle, even a regional event. Maybe you have a home presentation  with a few friends.
Events add credibility to the group.
Be relaxed but have a sense of urgency.
The tone of your meeting must be appropriate to your audience.  It’s like dancing,  some are faster some are slower, adjust to the rhythm. You talk differently to your friends than strangers but speak in their language not yours.

·      Tools
What tools does the company provide?I know we have many short videos available on our mobiles. Maybe your company has c.d-’s, brochures, product samples. Stories and testimonials are great.
Let the tools do the talking, NOT you trying to gabble.

·      Power of Three Way Calls.
Normally these are done on Skype. They don’t have to be done with your up line or sponsor but with someone who you can align with your prospect’s interests and expectation. Where are they now, mentally, physically, financially?

·      Telling Stories
This is so powerful and what we are paid to do. Have you got your own 30 seconds story. Practise until you are perfect.  Make sure it includes your WHY.  Why are you doing what you are doing!!!! You need to know your Reason in order to have `PURPOSE.
Stay away from facts and data and long explanations. Your prospects will go blurry eyed.

·      Emotional Rules of Inviting.
Detach yourself from the outcome. Some will some won’t, so what, next.
Go through the whole process as you know it.
Get out of your own way!. This is not about YOU. It’s about them. Ask yourself, How can you be or service to them?
Be your best self and look your best but be YOU and natural.
SMILE!
Go for that steaming hot passion inside of you -----‘I have a gift for you’.

·      Posture
This is not only about the way you sit or stand or slump over a table but about energy, vibes, excitement and then the law of attraction kicks in.
Use eye contact and open body language.
People are attracted to NON needy people,  not pleaders.

·      Confirm Action
Always confirm the date and time of any appointment plus their best telephone number to call.
Schedule next meeting before closing.
If you have given them a tool ask: When can you listen/read/watch?

·      Follow Up.
The Fortune is in the Follow up.
How do you think they feel if you have made a date and time for the follow up and you don’t show or make that call.  Are they going to join you?

To be continued.

Happy Inviting .

Ignite and Rock your Business in 2016

Most people seem to stumble into Network Marketing in the hope of changing their lives and that of their nearest and dearest. They dream of promised  #lifestyle changes and 6 figure incomes. Instant gratification!!!! with little or no idea how they are meant to achieve these results. In the past the sponsors had little idea how to lead with impact and develop their team but all this is now changing.
Let me state quite clearly that the lifestyle changes and high incomes are very achievable in this profession but like any other profession it takes Time, Perseverance and Persistence and a willingness to be coachable by your up-line. If you were in any traditional profession like a surgeon who  studies for  6-9 years before they are fully qualified and even then not experienced. New surgeons do not walk out waving a certificate one day and perform in the operating theatre the next day. Yes, people enter our profession with high expectations on day one but no training.  Hence the disappointment at the end of the first month when they have not achieved their goals. This is why in the past there has been such a high attrition rate.
So let’s look at managing your expectations in Network Marketing.

Tip no #1 to Rock your Business.
Give it at least a season, a sustained period of time, at least a  year.
Ask yourself these questions: What’s your budget for YOU over the next 12 months? What will be your self-investment and self- development?  Look at successful people and leaders and learn their skills. Get into action!!! Get in their way so people can find you.  Develop the right positive attitude. The Internet expedites this but you have to get them  off the internet and build a relationship in real life with your new people.

Tip no #2 to Rock your Business

Personal Development is no. 1 priority.  SKILL sets are the second priority. Bring the two together and you will begin to get results. Become the person you want to be.

Ask yourself:  How valuable are you to your team right now? We are all paid according to the  value  we  bring. You need to build trust and respect from your team and increase your value to them. It’s not all about YOU but who you take along with you. Who will follow you? You must bring your desire and willingness to learn. As Jim Rohn said: .

‘For things to change you have to change’

Tip no #3 to Rock your Business
Success is #attracted to YOU by the person YOU become. So first go to work on yourself!!! Read books, listen to webinars, learn from people who are successful in this industry not losers.
If you are surrounded by dream stealers then move on and find 5 new people who are aligned with your new vision.
Change your energy to raw hot excitement, increase the vibes.
Dabblers won’t succeed. Treat Network Marketing as a profession and the world will be your oyster.

Tip #4 to Rock your Network Marketing Business.

Learn and master the 7 basic Network Marketing Skills. These we will discuss in my next blog post.

Give yourself permission to live a big life. Step into who you are meant to be. Stop playing small, you are meant for greater things. Become the BEST you on the planet

Tip #5 to Rock your Network Marketing Business
Begin to think differently and develop a level of innovative thought.
